So its been awhile since I have addressed any questions on Left 4 Winchester, so here it goes...

Over the summer our mappers were extremely busy, and thus nothing has been worked on in awhile, but at least one of the mappers is planning to continue work in the fall. As far as legal issues, we have contacted Universal and since I've heard no replies were going to take that as "we don't care", and with that the project will not be shutdown. Left 4 Dead 2 is also on its way out, with just a month to go, thankfully the game adds new content that could help make L4W Maps all the better (like the daytime enviroments), as well as a CRICKET BAT! yes... I said it... L4D2 is confirmed to have a cricket bat...

So it seem's one of our main Mapper's has some recent second thoughts. These thoughts are based around legal issues with basing a video game campaign off a movie, and thus I am sadly stuck in a rift that I am not sure will work itself out anytime soon. If all goes downhill... we may lose him and thus his work along with it. Not to mention the announcement of Left 4 Dead 2 really is amazing but at the same point questions how far L4D 1 will go...

With much anticipation, and some waiting time, I now present the new look of Left 4 Winchester, as well as some new great functionality. Along with that I am happy to mention we are making great progress when it comes to mapping, thanks to Naticus and Citizen_001 for busting their butts to get things rolling (like a boulder down a steep hill).

As far as applications go, I am still accepting them, and constantly reviewing them. I would like to note however, PLEASE do not apply if your not serious, and please no applications for tester or anything of that sort, as we are not in the need of any.
